Dear Friends:
We have seen two turbulent weeks filled with an unprecedented series of executive orders from the White House. Some have been especially disquieting to many members of our community.
Please know that Susquehanna University remains steadfastly committed to maintaining and fostering a safe and welcoming campus.
We see and value every member of our community for who they are: race, ethnicity, national or geographic origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, social class, age, religion, political affiliation, and marital or parental status. We respect and acknowledge the identities they embrace, and we remain committed to being a campus where all of us feel supported, respected, and loved.
For students seeking individual support, please reach out to Counseling & Psychological Services 570-372-4751 (24 hours a day), the Center for Diversity & Inclusion, staff in Access, Equity & Belonging, Burke Hawk Hub, Student Life, or our campus spiritual leaders. Faculty and staff can utilize our employee assistance program.
If someone has concern for a student, you can submit a CARE form. Susquehanna University’s CARE team is ready to assist with academic, personal or emotional difficulties, ensuring the student receives the right support at the right time. Referring a student to our services is confidential.
Yours ever,
Jonathan D. Green
